Breast Reduction and Lift

Breast reduction is always covered by insurance when it is performed to relieve back, shoulder and/or neck pain, shoulder grooving and/or recurrent rashes under the breast. I always perform a breast lift at the same time. You will notice in this patient the breast are smaller but still full, before the procedure her nipples were at the level of her elbows, afterward the nipples are half the distance between the elbows and shoulders.

Breast Augmentation

This procedure uses saline implants to make the breasts bigger. I never use silicone. The Textured implants are inserted through a small puncture wound hidden in the crease of the breasts and placed underneath the muscle. This approach has the fewest complications and the most natural appearance. The breast have to be natural to be beautiful. Placed under the muscle they cannot be seen, felt or heard and they stay warm in the winter and do not interfere with mammograms. Inserting through the arm pit or navel has a much greater complication rate, unless you make a living topless I don’t recommend it.
